Momma's got a brand new toy!

I am SO excited. Ok, so SO excited doesn't even begin to cover it! I have been *DROOLING* over this camera since it first came out. I kept telling myself, "ONE day I will own that baby.... some day." I honestly did not think it was going to be anytime soon because of the price of it. But, my Rebel XTi is on it's last leg. It had a WONDERFUL life, but it is slowly giving out on me. So, I had to replace it before it got to the point where I couldn't shoot anymore.



On Madison's birthday, Adam told me to order my camera! Wow!!! I was stoked!!! I seriously thought it would be at least another year before I was able to order it. But, here she is! And I love her!

It was a bit of a process to get the camera here. I had a rough time with the place I ordered it from. We have had a previous bad experience with them, but they made good on it. So, I thought I would give it another shot. I was wrong. Should have gone with my gut. But, the main thing is I have the camera, no sense in dragging it all out anymore. I emailed the store last night, told them how disappointed I was with their customer service, and then I received the camera today. Everything in my email still stands. I am still very disappointed with the way I was talked to by one of the supervisors. And I was not pleased with the the way they sent the package and the tracking. There was a time when no one knew where my camera was. And well, I was VERY uneasy with that considering it is not a cheap little camera.

But, anyway... moving on...

I haven't been able to play too much with it, since I had to charge the battery and the kids we a bit fussy. But I WILL be playing with it tomorrow :) I am hopefully going to take the kiddo's outside to do their Valentine pictures!
